One of my favorite past-times is to peruse Craigslist and find people who need help via email. I figure it's good for my Karma, plus it really helped my sanity when I was on bedrest.
I consistently see people who are being gouged by attorneys just for consultations and time and time again I refer them to PrePaid Legal.
There are tons of cool things about this program, including a low cost monthly fee that guarantees you legal coverage in several areas, and even provides small provisions for small business owners. You can protect your credit through them as well.
They offer criminal, civil, real estate, contract, and traffic coverage plus you work with the same attorney as an entry point with access to specialists when you need them. I get nice emails all the time from people who thank me for the referral and tell me how they saved thousands. I figure I'd continue to pass it on with my blog. It covers sole proprietors in tons of areas.

Different plans are offered based on your state, and the price is less than the cost of a cup of coffee from 7-11 each day. For example it's only $17/month in WA!
It's monthly, and you can cancel at any time, although I doubt you'll want to!
